Having Problems with Creative Console

I tried and installed theirs and also the 2009 spring edition from this site, but everything the drivers goes perfect. Then the audio console, and other crap that goes with it always get an error, Error I-001 to be specific.

Their support is completely useless with their thumbs us the XXX, here a link to a screen shot of the exact error. Please I would enjoy having my sound back since flat ...is just disgusting.

Re: Having Problems with Creative Console

Can you crop the actual error and repost it? I can't see what it says. Also what hardware are you trying to use along with the software and what operating system are you using?

~Also if it helps...I tried to run the webupdate for some mericale of a fix. It says it can't find any creative products on my system. Not sure what I can do since it installed the driver fine and I hear sound from my speakers which are from my that sound card.

Re: Having Problems with Creative Console

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place but I cannot find anywhere that it says the Creative Console is Windows 7 compatible in fact I cannot find the application listed in the download section of the Creative website. You could try to install the console in Windows Vista compatibility mode and see if that works.

Re: Having Problems with Creative Console

it worked before..unless it automatically installed itself as windows vista mode...not sure how to do that. I can run it in compatibility mode and it doesn't work.

Re: Having Problems with Creative Console

Hmm...strange. I know you aren't fond of Creative tech support but have they gotten back to you yet about this?
