It somewhat depends on your usage (gaming, music editing, etc.)

I always would recommend KX drivers and they work great on that card (I have an OEM and a retail version) They (KX) can be complex but for music that is their benefit and strength. For gaming though they don't support EAX...... Sounds fine in games but if a game demands EAX then you may not want them.

I'm pretty sure PAX drivers have support for this card and they are modified Creative drivers so all the EAX and stuff are supported as far as I know..... Robert is a great guy and helps people get things tweaked the way they want. I've never used PAX myself.

Creative "says" their new drivers work with Win7 but I never used them on this card and I don't have 64bit..... they do work with Audigy 4 and Win7 32bit.

There's a couple of things to check. First KX drivers use the rear jack (black) as the default if you are running stereo speakers so it could be that. Also in Windows audio panel you need to play some music and select the proper output by looking at the VU meters there, you will see where there is signal. KX has several output options.

If you have more questions or issues look through the KX section of the forum for answers, if you aren't finding what you need you can ask in that section as long as you are using the KX drivers....... there are a lot of guys there that might know the answer.
