I downloaded the Compaq drivers for my Audigy when I had it. The drivers cleared up a number of glitches with the original Creative drivers. The Compaq drivers even improved the performace of my Audigy in JDKII; I did not notice a system lag with EAX effects like I did with the original Creative Drivers. You can compare this to video cards, like Nvidia for example. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you don't know what your talking about. |
