SB0090 (Audigy)

OK sorry to trouble you but I am totally lost. I aquired a SB0090 Audigy EAX Advanced HD (atleast that is what it says). I let Windows 7 install the drivers it had (I dont have a cd) and I am trying to connect it to my receiver using the Line out, Rear out and center/sub out on the sound card...not the single digital connector. What happens is I get sound only thru the Line out port..none of the others even through I set it to 5.1. I assume its because of the drivers.
I just need to know what drivers I should use. I see KX, PAX and OEM drivers mentioned on here and am overwhelmed a bit.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for any help you can give,
Scott

Re: SB0090 (Audigy)

OEM is factory Creative drivers.... I think they have released an "audigy" set for Win7, you may want to check their site and see if they are applicable to the SB0090. Those would be plug and play.

PAX are modified OEM, great for general listening and gaming. If Robert has a set for your card that may be the way to go if this is your interest.

KX are more for music production/recording and quite complex in their learning curve. While they will also work great for general listening and are functional for gaming there is no EAX if any of your games happen to use those environments. It also tends to have some issues with Win7 for some people.
