Bose Companion 5

I recently bought these speakers and I'm loving them, however, I'd like to configure these to get the most out of them, and I'm a little confused about a lot of the features. The manual that comes with pretty much just tells you to plug it all in and let it be, which works fine, but I would like to get the most out of these. I went into the control panel to configure the speakers, and started the configuration wizard. It had detected them as 5.1 surround speakers, with a side pair, center, and a sub. I think this is correct, even though in actuality, it only has a sub and the two side speakers. The next part is where I get confused. It has two boxes I can check under full-range speakers that say "Front left and right" and "Surround speakers". I should have these both checked right? Also, when I go to the properties of the speakers, under enhancements, are a list of other features that I'm not too sure about. I have speaker fill, room correction, and loudness equalization. What exactly do these do? And should I use them all? Also, I was looking to see if there was somewhere I could go to find updated drivers, but I couldn't find anything. Sorry about the stupid questions, but I couldn't find a forum on their page, and I felt like I had to ask. Thank you.
