x-ray is on a distinguished road

Sad Sound stuttering (dropouts) when using DDL or DTSC

i am using the audigy 2 zs and vista 64.

i registered the ddl and dtsc codecs and i am using my mainboards spdif out in the dtsc codec settings (in creative audio console) because when i select the audigy's spdif out i get no sound at all with dtsc and had 25 % cpu load while in windows desktop mode (just while using ddl or dtsc, audigy spdif out works fine with movies)

when i am playing games, at first it works and after 2minutes, especially when there is much sound, i get total dropouts unregularly.
i dont get this when not using ddl or dtsc.

it's like when there is a scene with much shooting, i get about 2 dropouts a second.

i already tried running games without sli but it makes no difference.

in ddl i get much more dropouts a second when there is much action in the game then with dtsc, but withs dtsc having dropouts every 1 or 2 seconds is annoying enough.

when i end a game and start it again immediately i also have dropouts in the intros and menus of the game, so it's continously from a certain point. but when i stay in desktop mode for some minutes and start a new game up it's fine again for the first 2 minutes.

who has got an idea what may cause these dropouts ?

could it be that too many sounds in the game are a problem for the 5.1 codecs or my cpu ?

when i don't use ddl or dtsc and i am just using spdif with stero or select speakers as default device and listen through spdif, everything is fine

so it is just ddl and dtsc related.

any ideas what i could possibly try to make it work without audio dropouts ?

i can use ddl with the spdif out from the audigy without problems though.

it seems the problem is related to the connection to my mainboard spdif out somehow. (asus m4n82 deluxe with realtek ALC1200).

has anyone made the dts connect feature work with an audigy 2 zs card somehow ?

as i said before, when i use the spdif out from the audigy, only ddl works, but not dts connect, i don't get any audio, cpu load is at 25%. when i use the realtek's spdif i get audio dropouts, also in ddl.

maybe it is also codec related to ffdshow or something, because ffdshow sends dts and dd signals through spdif, too ? i already uninstalled spdiffer (ac3filter), but it didn't help.

or could it be related to dts and dd beeing checked (enabled) in the audio settings of the spdif on my audigy AND the realtek spdif ?
