X-Fi with DOS?
Started playing old DOS games and I read all kinds of stuff using old sound blaster drivers and different tools to stop dos games sound output via mainboard speaker - which can be really disturbing after a while. just can't get used to it anymore
![]() So I was wondering if anyone knows a solution that works without messing with the newest pax drivers for x-fi extreme music on XP. I tried last night, but it did not work out. It acutally messed up my X-Fi software and THX console so I had to uninstall and reinstall all pax software and drivers today. But I don't want to do this all over everytime I play an old DOS game. I couldn't find anything helpful on the net, so if there's anyone out there using pax drivers and listenening to ancient DOS game sounds via soundcard and not mainboard speakers then let me know. |

Re: X-Fi with DOS?
DOS Box comes to my mind it has emulation for SB.. There are no drivers for F-Fi for such old OS as DOS is
