Hello friends, I was searching for x-fi sound blaster software since few days which should work on my dll xps laptop i tried all the procedures from this site also which was told by Alexa but none worked for me then I got the link for gamespirit's Realtek HD Mod Win7 x86/x64 [X-Fi MB -SRS -Sonic Focus -Dolby -DTS -THX ProStudio]. i have installed it and the sound was coming from my laptop but sometimes my laptop sound turned off and if i run winamp, it says DIRECT SOUND ERROR and asks to install proper drivers and to start sound working again, i need reboot so i want to know that is there any way to fix this error? is there any way to install original driver with this modified driver? because if try to install default realtek driver then it starts to unistall this modified driver, I love this modded driver because its giving me awesome effects which i wanted since long time, thanks in advance

First of all, you either have a x-fi sound card or a realtek HD solution. Unless you have an external x-fi sound card.
So, what do you actually have?

I have realtek hd audio device driver installed as default sound device, i just want to know tht is there any way to install both the drivers altogether to solve this incompatibility issue? if not then what can be other solution?
