Xfi Xtreme Audio...sigh... help

Yes I have this crappy card. It was a quick fix when my Xtreme Gamer card died. Anyway, I'm having some issue with getting the application installed. I want to access the graphic equalizer and there is just no way to do it. There is no icon in my task bar. It should be right there by the clock. But nope notta. I tried reinstalling the whole driver package straight from Creative and still nothing. The sound works, but no way to access the application that offers Entertainment Mode/Game Mode and the needed graphic equalizer. There is too much bass happening and that's why I wanted to play with the EQ in the first place. Any suggestions folks? Happy Hump Day!!!

Update: Well I've come to the conclusion that the graphic equalizer I had with my Xtreme Gamer simply doesn't exist for the Xtreme Audio. I did a complete wipe of all things Creative on my PC and did another install of the packaged suite from the Creative site and nothing. No EQ option at all. Lame-O I say...Laaaame-O.
