Barbarian is on a distinguished road

Which are the latest SBLive drivers???

Which are the latest(official or moded) SBLive drivers ,and where can i find them????Right now i'm using 5.12.2.252 driver and i'm getting some cracklings(in music and games) but only from time to time.So is this a problem with the drivers or something else???And don't tell me ti try the kX drivers because i did and there was no EAX in games ,and EAX is important for me.

Humn.,... I have the same sb live! value, using on windows xp and with the same drivers as you... without problems.

What's your motherboard? On my a7v133 (kt133a chipset), I got the same problems as you, BUT using promise drivers (ata100 ide driver).... so with the windows xp factory driver for the ide I'm ok.

Did you tried a clean windows xp install, and installed only the creative ones? It may help ya.

cheers

I have the same mobo as you, what exactly is the 1010B expert bios? Is it any different than the regular 1010B bios.

Cool... I always like to find ppl with those old a7v boards running athlon xp like me ;-)

Hey man, this bios is very good, actually much better than the regular ones with new and nice features.
Did you never heard about them?? www.braziliantech.com
But I'm afraid the site is down due long updates they're doing.

If you give me ur email/icq, I can send ya the original bios from them (that I'm using right now)... it came with a readme.txt too ;-)

btw, check out www.a7vtroubleshooting.com ... very nice website for a7v users like us and a great forum too... I'm registred there as marcofulvio

cheers
