Help with Drivers

I recently formatted my computer, however I forgot to look at the drivers for my Audio so I would know what to reinstall. So now I have absolutely no clue what drivers I need. The audio is integrated in the MB by the way. I know my motherboard is a MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD MS-6577 020 but i was unable to find any info on it. is there some program i can download to identify what driver i need for my audio? if not do you have any suggestions? any help is greatly appreciated.

Check your user manual for information on what type of sound you have, then check the manufacturers website for sound updates. Here's a page of their onboard audio cards. I've had Realtek® Avance ALC AC'97 Audio for most of my motherboards in the past, it seems pretty popular, although I can't say anything for your specific case.

Woah Woah Woah Woah. Make sure you know which ones are for your computer. Do you have your manual?

Nope. I have practically no docs for my pc.

Try going into device manager and hitting your sound, video and game controllers, what does that say.

the device manager does not recognize my sond card, and it cannot find a driver for it. so it just sits there with a question mark next to it.
