Many of you Live/Audigy owners have been having troubles installing drivers and updates to your cards because of ikernel.exe errors (I've had this error too). This link explains why it happens and how to stop it from happening so you can install things without problems.

Also note:

From my personal experience, some installers don't work properly unless you put the install file into the main C:\ directory.
