Default Post Connecting to my XBOX :)

Guys I need your help, basically as most of know most of the next gen consoles only allow optical input. Well I have 2 sets of creative 5.1 speakers the DTT 2200 and DTT 2500's now the annoying thing is that neither of them have optical inputs only sp-dif and DIN. So I was going to use my onboard sound, which is basically a sound blaster live with optical input or get an extra card for my current sound blaster live 5.1. What I was thinking about doing was connecting my speakers through pc and then into xbox but there is about a 7m distance so is it practical???
What do you think? Let me know

I know people have used the Extigy to do something similar. You might want to think about a decoder that has Analog outputs. I don't have anything in mind at the moment, but I will look around and see what I can find.
