Headsets and Audigy 2

After repeated requests from the DH Clan, i changed my headset again

Up until now i have always used a logitech usb headset and mic. Now when plugged in i hear the game and the clan members through my headset. The only problem was some clan members could barely hear my voice. Some might say that is a good thing, but anyways, i purchased today the planatonics 90 series headset. This one is a plug in jack and not usb.

When i configured it via windows, all was perfect, but on firing up Teamspeak, the guys say my voice is crystal clear and hear me perfectly now, but all the sounds from the game and their voices come from the 5.1 surround speakers and not the headset.

The wife will have something to say about the racket i make if i cannot configure these new planatonics to work correctly.

I know i have plugged them in correctly but for some reason i cannot get the headset to receive the game and teamspeak sounds. I can talk via the mic on the headset, but all the incoming sounds come via the 5.1 speakers.

Please can someone walk me through the audigy 2 and headset setup here please

Thanks

I have THESE Necrosis.

This is the speaker connectivity. The jacks for the new headset, are in the two plugs next in line. One is red the other black. The red one being next to the green speaker jack.

Thanks

Okay...

I looked at the setup diagram...and based off the knowledge of your card.....do you have your headphone in the line out jack on the Audigy 2? I don't see any headphone input for your speakers, and if my memory serves me right there is a line out. However, it's 5:30 in the morning & I'm honestly too lazy to look at the back of my computer to make sure it's there. If not you will probably need to get a (Y) splitter, and connect it to your FRONT speaker output, and thusly change your speaker setup to 2.1 while using the headphones.
