Audigy2 ZS is not compatible with Audigy2 Platinum's front panel drive!

Hi everyone,

I sent an e-mail to Creative Americas and asked them whether (the connector of) Audigy 2 ZS is compatible with Audigy 2 Platinum's front panel drive, and the answer I got from Richard Tan of the Technical Support department was an astonishing NO!

So there you go. If you want to protect your investment in computer equipment, stay away from Creative by all means. You have been warned.

Note: Pass the word around.

They could have made it compatable if they wanted to. But why help the consumer?

Why did they do so?
In the Live!/Audigy1 Series, all drives were compatible.
