??? My audigy2 zs speciall effects......

I have a problems with my new audigy 2 zs soundcard. It seemes like its somethings wrong with my drivers or something. When I try to put speciall effects like chipmunks or something like that on a song it doesnt always work. Is it something wrong with my drivers? Im not totally sure that i got rid off all the old drivers for my old soundcard so maybe those are making problems, I dont know?, Im not so good at computers or english so if you give me help do it very exactly so I know what to do Thanks!!

It maybe an issue with your drivers. It seems the drivers released for these cards do have issues noted by posts in this part of the forum about missing rear speakers. I've seen several posts also in the Creative newsgroup about different issues as well. What did you do to remove your old drivers?

Hmm...well it's good he didn't have a Creative card before so we don't have to worry about removing as far as old Creative junk out of the registry. However, it seems since the card is working that he's not having a critical hardware conflict. The only thing I can recommend really is to make sure all the previous software from the onboard sound is removed. I also would recommend he make sure all the onboard sound options in his bios are turned off. However, what his problem is probably has nothing to with either of these. The only thing I can say is after doing the above items, he might try reinstalling the card & making sure he's updated to the latest version of DirectX.
