New hacked drivers for SBLives!

This guy Regeneration, modded the Audigy2 drivers for SBLives and send a mail to me so that i publish em on my guide {http://discuss.futuremark.com/forum/...o=0&fpart=&vc=}.

I haven't tried em, cause i don't have a Live, but i thought it would be nice to share em with you guys here, cause you made me start creating my guide!

Anyway, here are some more info:

REGENERATI0N says:
"if u got Creative Sound Blaster Live! Card this Driver's for u, its actully Audigy 2 Drivers Modded for Live! based on the 4v driver that creative released officialy. If Audigy1 hardware made it, Live! can do it too, there is such far from AI and SB Live!, i tested it and it was good, check it out.. and tell me if u got any bugs."

whats with these "sound improvenments"?

For me these drivers are no good because when I install them in device manager there is a sound device but in control panel->sound and audio devices it says no audio device and i have no sound.Oh and I'm using SBLive 5.1 digital.

I installed this driver and everything is ok , but i´d like to know wich creative software can i use with it?
I see no eax4.0 drivers installed.

I have a Dell and i use a Sound Blaster Live.BUT, when i try to install creative drivers, it says i dont have a sound card installed.Im forced to use stupid Dell based drivers for some odd reason.Ill have to try these when i get home from work.

Dell uses a different device id than a stock SB Live, I thought there was 1 file that could be removed and then the Dell can use any drivers

NO!!!!!

Dell SBlive cards use a different chip! The main chip is a generic and I don’t even think its s even made by creative! The card is built by creative but the chipset is not. There a custom built job to be ultra cheap for dell. That’s why it needs different drivers. there not as good as a real sblive.

it'd be like haveing a radeon with a sis chipset. the ati chipset drivers wouldn't work becouse it's not an ati chipset do you get my drift?
