Audigy ES bulk worth buying?
Hi,
I'm into buying a new soundcard because I use the on-board audio Realtek ALC650. I can't afford much money and I have found Audigy ES(SB0162) bulk at 38 Euros. Is this card OK?It seems the same with original Audigy except from the firewire(ES doesn't have firewire). Audigy 2 bulk costs 68 Euros.Should i save some money and buy this one? I want to have low-latency ASIO for recording with SOnar 2.2 and amplitube VST. The creative drivers of Audigy 1/2 is ok for ASIO or I should use kX drivers? Here is the link of the Audigy ES http://asia.creative.com/products/audio/audigyes/ |

Freedom is a feature.

Just make sure that the card is real "Audigy", that it doesn't use some weaker DSP because, if it does, you won't be able to use kX with it.
