I just bought this sound card.....

And was wondering if it was any good.
I bought it off Ebay, and thought it was a good sound card, but a buddy of mine said it was rather old.
Its a Sound Blaster Live X-Gamer PCI Model CT4760.
Right now, i have a so called Sound Blaster Live in my PC.I was told that its a Dell version of the Sound Blaster, so i thought anything right now would be better then the crap i have now.Plus the one i bought off Ebay was only 20 bucks

It is an older model but definitely better than the Live! card. For the price you paid you should be very happy with it, it's still a great card

it is an older card but its decent .... there was sb live, then sb live x gamer/mp3/platnum ... then they came out with live 5.1 (dolby digital out) and xgamer, mp3, platnum all w/5.1, then audigy, and audigy2

BTW: my live 5.1 has been for sale fer a while
