Default Post Audigy player + SB LiveDrive II

I have the normal Audigy player card and i wonder if is good idea to buy the "old" SB LiveDrive II [to make my card "Platinum"]. This two parts can work together?

If you're willing to open up your computer and install a pci card and attach a ribbon cable to the Audigy (not a very hard task), then you can get a card with the same inputs/outputs, except it is only 1/3 the price. Check it out:

The only difference would be that you won't get those extra IEEE1394 ports, but who uses those anyway?
