Audigy drive
Is it possible to use a different cable for the audigy drive. I would like to move my audigy drive higher up in my case but the cable is already at max length. Can I use a regular IDE cable that I might be able to get in a longer length.

I'm not sure, but if you have a spare IDE cable lying around, why don't you give it a try and post your results?

A bit off-topic - I read somewhere that Terratec prohibits using IDE cable and doesn't guarantee that drive or card will survive it; so, it might be the same warning for Creative.

an IDE cable would work, as long as there are no keyed (blocked) pins in the wire, i used one end of an IDE cable to make a breakout box for my sb libe, and both card have the same extension pinout (AUD_EXT)
