Audigy2 ZS with Inspire 4400?

Hi!

I have a SB Live! Value and I'm thinking of buying an Audigy2 ZS. I really don't plan to change my speaker set (a 4-channel Inspire 4400) because it's enough for me and my somewhat small bedroom. Do you think is it worth it? Is there a better option?

Thanks a lot.

I think it's worthi it, because A2ZS is a lot better card than Live, but it also depends on the cost.

Here it is. I converted the prices to dollar.

Creative Audigy2 ZS7.1 SB0350..........................US$ 137.00
Creative Live! SB220 OEM...............................US$ 41.00

Well, it's kinda hard to answer if it's worth it. All I can say is that Audigy2ZS is a lot higher quality card than Live!; it also offers more processing power for EAX/sound effects.
I personally would go for Creative's soundcard because of the possibility to use kX drivers with it, but final decision is up to you.
