GTA III and GTA:VC Sound issues...

format?? no way..I would nevr format my system. I cant back up 200+ gigs I checked for viruses I had one and its gone..bahh I give up

Hey...I've been thinkin about this for a while... do I need any Service Packs to get my drivers working correctly? do you have any installed? I dont want to install SP1 if it isnt completely neccesary...

sp1 has a lotta fixes i would recommend installing

drivers im sure its not necessary. im pretty damn sure cats dont need it

oh ok I'll install tonight, how about SP2 or any other Sps?

SP2 is only in beta so far, and although I have been running it without issues I'd say stay with SP1. As software companies and driver teams develop new versions they are primarily looking at systems with the latest service pack installed, so it's simply recommendable to install it.

your video issues are more crucial at least your sound works. getting the 5.1 working should be ez.
