Audio Switch - 4.1 / Headphones
Does anyone know if something like this exists? I hate having to keep going in the back of my comp and switching between my 4.1 speaker set and headphones. I know Plantronics makes a device but I don't believe it has the surroundsound capability or something. Not sure, any comments would be nice. Thanks.

I went to radio shack and got a splitter for 3 bucks that lets you keep both pluged up at all times, works great.

ya, i have one too. the only downside is that the same amount of output is coming from your card so it splits it between your headphones and speakers. it's not that big of a deal, my speakers only get marginally louder when i unplug my headphones.
at home, my z640's have a built-in headphone port that switches off the speakers when plugged in =) i'm at school =( i have seen devices that have a big switch on them, but they dont work for surround speakers

Mine never change. You should check to see if one set has a short or something.
