??? Best 2.1 Speakers

Due to space considerations I can only realistically get a set of 2.1 speakers. Also, anything else would cause marital difficulties so what's a good set of 2.1 speakers?

Yeah Kinetic the Klipsch Pro Media are very good man as are the new Logitech Z-2200. Either choice would make a great 2.1 setup.

KLIPSCH PROMEDIA 2.1 or LOGITECH Z-2200

you can get the Logitech's for around 100 bucks if you search at pricegrabber.com, 200W and THX just like the Klipsch and the Klipsch are around 190 bucks minimum!

....best thing to do... go to your local stores with a few of your FAV cd's along with a few songs or demoing music that spans the limitations of most music... such as bass..... and don't forget the highs...... Distortions... and interference...... Remember.. wattage isn't everything.... it can prove to be quality... or crap.... BTW... by space... is this desktop space.... as new speaker system... being 5.1 or whatever... now come with standard RCA related cabling.... which you can extend VERY easily..... also.... Alot of shops such as WALMART have neato corner shelves that don't damage... and can easily be taken down.....

I have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and they're just great More than enough power, beautiful crisp music, the high end is just crystal clear thanks to the horns, the bass is quite thumpful and undistorted at both high and low volumes. I've literally heard things in music that I never noticed before getting these speakers. You can't go wrong with these.

They look pretty nice, I wonder if you can use them as part of a 5.1 or 7.1 system?

Not sure! The remote is pretty cool though, theres a port for connecting your i-Pod or other such device! Pity I don't own one though!
