No sound in call of duty

Hi,

Just installed CAll Of duty and am getting absolutely no sound in game. The sound comes on when the game comes on but on the menu and in game nothing.

Currently running win XP SP1 and SB Live 5.1 Soundcard.

Please help.

did you restart windows after the install ?

edit: remember now; had some to do with changing the eax option in the sound setting
think the next time you run Cod it should be ok
