Audigy 2 capabilities for recording?

Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum and admittedly not very tech savvy.
The reason I am here is to research the capabilities of recording simultaneous tracks onto my PC using the Audigy 2 soundcard.

There have been posts on the homerecording forum that indicate it is possible to use the KX drivers to use the Audigy2 for this purpose. But I haven't been able to find any specific details.

I have a new Dell computer that came with the Audigy2 installed so I do not have the literature that normally comes with the soundcard. The Creative site doesn't appear to offer much information about audio recording.

I'm hoping that someone here might be kind enough to offer some assistance.

Does anyone know of any articles, sites or other information that would help me determine what the Audigy2 is capable of with regard to audio recording ??
