are the newist EMU APS drivers any good?

I remember last year that emu brought out a new driver set out for thier sampler card based on the same chipset as the audigy,sblive etc does anyone/has anyone hacked this driver for use with audigy/live?

I used to use one of thier old driver sets for my SBlive and had zero latency a few years ago. nobody seems to use the emu aps drivers anymore.
