Have and LOVE the KLIPSCH.Still only have the 4.1 and its hooked up to the Audigy2 and believe me these still rock!I have the Logitech Z640s hooked up to SBlive5.1 but it still dont sound as good as the Klipsch.Someday Ill be able to afford the 5.1s.If you want the best you gotta fork out the cash for the best.Go Klipsch, you wont be sorry.

I had previously Yamaha YST-50 2.1 speakers, sounded better then my entry-level Panasonic hifi speakers (three way with double subwoofer integrated for the Panasonic, subwoofer + 2 2-way speakers)... Now I'm listening with Z-560 speakers... I love the quality

Im using a 2 pairs , I need to to check the difference when I am making music.
My main speakers are Acoustic energy AE 1 with metal bass cones, sound really nice and have a good bass response for the size of speaker.the treble is quite natural sounding and not too harsh. they only cost 60 quid ( second hand ). my second pair are gale audio monitors 100w, they are quite old now but still sound nice, these gales have a smooth sound and have took alot of abuse in my studio,I dont really like the sound of a lot of new speakers that have been coming out, most seem to be very trebly, but it all comes down to different taste. I am really into british designed speakers.I like a smooth warm sound not bothered too much about detail more about realism. |

if money is of no option the cambridge giga/megaworks are as good as it gets(made by creative labs)...if yer on a budget...the logitech's are my choice...klipsch is good...but i feel they are probably the worst quality/price ratio

I have owned a Logitech z640 (with an audigy 2 ZS) and they gave very good sound in games, dvd movies and music. Very good bang for your buck.
But today I bought an Logitech Z-5300 and I was really blown away with the crisp sound which it gave. And the power....WOW. I really recommend this set to anyone who has the money to buy it. I got it for 225 euro's and I really think it's worth the money. |

These past couple weeks, i've looking for a good set of speakers. I want good speakers for a change because i want my speakers to last for a long time. I saved my money and decided to go with the creative gigaworks.
They are truly truly the best multimedia speakers i've heard Lucky that I bought this baby instead of the logitech. The sub is much better than the boomy sub from logitech and the satellites give much clearer and crisp sound. High/mid/low ranges are handled very well. IMHO these speakers even compare to some mid-range good quality home audio system. |
