Well, if you want clarity and power, combined with an extensive smile on your face, go with [MegaWorks 510D]... If you have any questions, let me know!

I am currently using the Bantam Pro-M5 headphones.

They are only 15 dollars, but for the price, they're really awesome. Deep bass, clear midrange, and good highs. The only downside to these is that the extreme highs are hissy and they aren't the most comfortable phones on the planet. I'd recommend these over any headphones costing less than 60 dollars. (cuz these sure as hell can't compete with the 60 dollar Grado SR60 ).

You can also have the samething with the Klipsch Promedia 5.1's.

Creative makes some really good speakers. However, the only thing I think is worth while is their Cambridge series. I wasn't to impressed with earlier models, not enough power. dEykeé does your Soundworks have digital inputs?

I just picked these up...

Headroom.com: Sennheiser HD 497

Headroom.com had this to say about these headphones.

The only sub-$100 headphones that rival the Grado SR60 for the crown of “Best Low-Cost Cans Without An Amp.” We love ‘em!
I'm very impressed with their clearity and sensitivity. I keep my expensive pair of Senn's on my home theater system. I highly recommend these; they are actually quite comfortable to wear as well. I'm listening to some "40 Below Summer" right now, excellent sonic performance.

Thank you for blowing up my eyeballs with that pic
Yup, a nice set of speakers, def. more in design than mine...

What, I want mine UP, too

Ups, sorry, didn't see the bottom text line, as I was so blinded by the Klipsch's

Here, take a look at the connection panel:

The Digital In is a 3-pole mini stereo jack, so to answer your question - it has a digital input...

I'm very pleased with MegaWorks 510D, as it def. delivers more than enough power...
...and yeah, I wasn't impressed with earlier models either; had the DTT2500...

My Klipsch only has the analog inputs. If someone would like to have the digital inputs looks like they should go with yours. Unless they want to pay another $100.00 for the decoder for the Klipsch.

If you like these you almost might like the Koss UR40's. I think they are about $30.00 less.

I'd really like to hear the Z-560's! Just so I can compare them subjectively with MegaWorks 510D (500W's o'power - not mocking, giving facts)...

Would like to see that THX certificate in motion, and after that replicating it and sticking it on the 510D's

Nah rob a bank, or work at a HIFI audio store. They can pay me in components!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Klipsch's much cheaper than the 510D's? Meaning that buying that decoder for $100.00 would make prices match...

seems strange they didn't implement digital input...

btw. can you give me some tech specs for the Klipsch's?
Rated power...
THD...
Everything?

..actually, I worked for a bank here a while ago, did some HW & SW ugrading, but they didn't let me rob them Think I shouldn't have asked them (at least they payed and made me a proud owner of the 510D's)

But yeah, I've always wanted to own an audio store..
<there's still time...>

LOL, tx for these extensive specs!!

Looks like they're 'here, somewhere' by max output, burst OC... Mine are rated @500W@<0.10% THD; satellites 70W RMS, woof. (8") 150W RMS which utilizes BASH technology (if you're interested I can dig it up)...

Think I've read somewhere the Klipsch's being superior in the midrange, compared to 510D's... I'd really like to hear that...

Mine also uses BASH. Weird though because I've read mine has better highs. However, your speakers have better mids.

GZS, you're so right! I must have displaced the two

Well, I'm keeping my 'flat' switch @reduced all the time, sometimes highs give me headache

Even though they aren't the best 2.1 setup, i like atp3s, they do the job, for 75 cdn bux, i like them.

(They only thing i could say about them is that they got this little frequency loss between the sob and the downfiring mids....... somewhere in the 800+/- hz)

Everyone who is not a big audiophile, but wants a decent audio setup for cheap get these:
