I search the latest driver for win xp,my audio card is cmi8738 PCI i have 0642 version but i need 0645 version

Not sure if it's relevant - seems to be a 9738/s, but it' later than 0639/0642 set on the FTP

I was close, VERY close, with my mistake on the 9738!

9738 UDA driver (current XP release) - hacked for 8738 support

Browse around the 3D Sound Surge C-media forums if that doesn't do it for you - the 9738 driver inf hack has a few issues, but they say it's a transformation!

More info - you may have to find YOUR particular VEN/DEV/SUBSYS lines and add them, unless the driver set is "universally hacked"

No, but you can probably register somehow if you want or download 644.
