Cubase: wanted and unwanted clicks

Hi there !

I have two problems in Cubase5 regarding clicks. I want to record midi-Data from my external Keyboard into a midi track, which works fine so far (I am using the kx-Asio driver). But usually you can hear the clicks produced by Cubase while you are recording (like a metronome). But unfortunately, I do not hear these clicks. Did I miss some part of the configuration? Midi-Playpack works fine as well.

2nd Problem: the unwanted clicks. I have already read some of the posts regarding this topic. I hear these kind of artefacts and clicks that point toward something like lost samples. Changing the latency did not help. Maybe my PC is not providing enough resources, I have a P4 1,5 GHz with 512MB RAM. What do you suppose? Configuration error or lack of perfomance and memory?

Thanks for your help
