Soundblaster Live and digital output

This might be an old issue, but I have not found a post discussing it by searching the Forum.

Is there a way to enable both digital out on the back of the card itself and still keep outputting analog signals to the front and rear speakers? I have to select "Digital out only" the get the digital output at the card to output signals, but the the analog signals is then blocked.

I can do the above mentioned task by using the digital out on the SB Live front panel, but I would like to have all my cables at the back of the PC.

due to the hardware routing, the analog outputs must be disabled for some reason. probably due to the dual usage of the sub&centre/digital out jack
