Default Post Which soundcard to choose

hi all

wow it is a long time sinc i was here over 2 months i think

i am planning to buy a new soundcard but cant decide which to buy
i play games much, hear mp3, watch dvds, divx and use the soundcard quite much
sometimes i stress the souncard

should i go for

1. Soundblaster Audigy

2. Hercules Digifire

3. Hercules fortissimo 3

i also wounder which card is best on spesifications

I'm leaning more towards the Digifire. However, you should try to find a review for it before you think of picking it up. It looks like both of Hercule's cards are very similar when it comes to features (probably because they're based off the same chip). The Digifire I think offers the best combo. of outputs and being an owner of the Game Theater the new drivers rock for the Cirrus Logic based cards. It also depends on your system too; many people have problems with Creative cards.

I really prefer the Soundblaster Audigy myself expecially if you get one of the ones with the front panel for extras.

Default Post digifire perhaps........

Dunno really what are you looking for in card, I know plenty of people with Audigy's that work great, but I know a couple that had real bad problems oc'ing with them. But I would probably go with the digifire, seems to have the best set of features overall.
