Smilie Live! to Live! 5.1 Hardware Upgrade

I read the guide this guide "http://www.digit-life.com/articles/livetolive51/" last day.
it would be more easy to make a software modification. Do you agree?

This task is very dificil for people without experience.

System Specs

softwar mod? you still won't be able to get an extra analogue output with out building a digitial to analogue converter
but if you have digital speakers - use the kX drivers, and then connect RCA ports to the relevant output pins and ground pins on the AUD_EXT connector

Big Grin

I have thinking to do a soft mod in Creative Drivers because the EAX and the Surround Mixer AC3 decode. I can“t spend more money to buy other board.

yes this is possible, provided you motherboard provides an SPDIF input
my old GA-7n400e and my current GA-7NNXP both have these inputs
currently mysetup is the opposite way - inputs from the onboard sound get sent to the audigy
