Win2k SB live 5.1 player problem

I can only hear the sound at the start of the win2k. After that i hear nothing when i try to play a sound file in players ( winamp, windows media player and etc... ) ...

Any1 has a solution for this problem?

in the sound control panel, check which device is default for playback
