ASIO drivers for P4P800 integrated soundcard

I have a computer based on an ASUS P4P800 deluxe motherboard with an integrated AD1985 AC'97 audio CODEC (which I am led to believe is rather common) capable of 6 channel audio. It came with SoundMax driver ( ver. 5.12.1.3630) and application.

I want to be able to edit 5.1 channel audio in Adobe Premiere Pro but the problem is that Premiere does not seem to recognize this as an input/output device. I know I can get 6 channel audio from the device using a DVD and also using Adobe Audition but apparently not in Premiere Pro. When reading Premieres helpfile there was a passage saying that the audio drivers must comply with the ASIO specs.

So the question is if the SoundMax 5.12.1.3630 drivers do comply with ASIO specs and if not, does anyone know where to find drivers for my sound device that do comply with ASIO specs?

try usign a program like ASIO4ALL to get asio on this device

ASIO4all worked just fine for me. Now I can do do exactly what I wanted and I am a much happier person.
