Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and Audigy 2 ZS Driver Update v5.12.01.444
Creative have updated their Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and Audigy 2 ZS driver to v5.12.01.444! Dated: 29/07/2004. This update combines the features and fixes of two previous updates:
4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Patch Update for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and Audigy 2 ZS (released on 29 March 2004) 4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Update for Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2/Audigy 2 ZS (released on 19 November 2003) Fixes: Resolves the system stall issue that is encountered when you disconnect the phone cable from your modem while establishing a dial-up Internet connection. Requirements: Microsoft® Windows XP SP1, Windows 2000 SP3, Windows Millennium Edition or Windows 98 Second Edition. Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 ZS series audio card (with or without previous drivers and updates installed). North america : Asia : Europe Source: warp2search |

Like the release notes said, nothing new except that one minor fix.

Wow Creative releases a driver update for my card every few months and it only fixes only problem after a long wait.

I can't say I've ever had a problem with this card, this or my Audigy 1 before it. Can't fix what ain't broke.

well I allready have my hard drive partitions out for it
I know with cretive for some reason you get a boost with more frame rates in creative drivers then in kx I do compraison about it soon.

dont install from cd unless u want to manually change the eax settings, and if u do only choose audiohq and maybe the soundfont banks
