Fix for crackling SoundBlaster cards

Run this patch for any SoundBlaster live 5.1 OR Audigy sound cards and you will never get crackling or poping again...works for all OS's... You must have real creative drivers for this to work.. IE: windows default drivers wont recognise this patch !

well it still crackles LOL farcrys sound driver sucks imho and its very buggy they shoudl fix the sound ishues then consentrate on performance looks to me there not doing anything to improve sound ishues :/ still with that patch it does not pop as much as it was doing previous to installing the patch. :P

Ya i still get the ocasional pop in FarCry but i think its the game doin it, not the soundcard..But Max Payne used to crackl somthin awefull ... now its sounds wicked

there si no way for me to verify that about max payne 2`s sounds as they where working perfectly fine for me with out the patch so trying with the patch would be pointless lol

still if it fixed your problems it must be working. i think what the patch does is disable the sound cards TURBO mode in the registery.

Yup exactly dude...You would think Creative would have figured that out by now and done somethin about it..??..i have seen thousands of posts on the creative site and others about crackling SB cards...abd the tech team never say anything about the Turbo reg key...Maybe they put in that key so people with older cards go out and buy the newest audigy in the hopes it wont crackel like there old card....If thats the case we should sick the NARCS on em ... LMAO

LOL still mate thanks for the TIP and Download link it is always something to keep if there are problems ect i have added it to my 120GIG downloads folder lol with all my other applications ect and drivers ect

i think im ready for another monthly DVDR backup

i always backup my date monthly you never know when a hdd will suddenly die on ya hehe thats why i backup on dvdr safest place i have about 100+ dvdr`s now will all new data on em i cant say what data but its data hehe
