Need help installing Audigy 1 Card

I'm trying to install an Audigy 1 card on XP, and I don't have the installation cd. I went through a walkthrough that claimed if you were to chose the SB Live! driver it would recognize the SB Audigy 1 card, and thus allow you to install updated drivers from creative's site. Unfortunately that didn't work for me, the drivers from creative's site are still saying it doesn't recognize an Audigy card installed and thus will just exit setup. Can anyone help?

try using the guide here for the audigy 2 drivers on audigy 1 cards
