A solid 2.1 Speaker Set?

I have Altec Lansing AVS300s right now, they're ok, but I like my bro's Logitech X220's better. Now, I won't be picking up any new speakers anytime soon, but if I can get some for a real great price that would be sweet. So what are some nice 2.1's? I'm conservative with space so, 2.1's are all I want.

Below $100 CAD if possible

Consider saving up for something really good instead. Like the Logitech Z-2200. Though its sub part is quite big, so you would need a bit of space on the floor to put it. I'm not sure on currency but guess it's more like CAN$200. Make your brother envious.

I was going to suggest the Altec Lansing 621 Ultimate's but they are probably around $200 CDN also. They have almost the same sound quality as the ADA 880's i used to have but in a 2.1 package

i personally use a 2.0 set, edirol MA-10Ds… they retail around $400 AU for digital version, and abouy $270 (i think) AU for the analogue only version - very good quality speakers

I just checked those out. DAMN~! They're sexy! They blow my bro's speakers away. Only $150 CAD! I want, I want! But money is tight
