i think these drivers are a modded version of the official drivers - like the omega drivers and modded catalysts… i prefer kX myself

everybody has different estimation for sound quality, you can try this to decide whether like it.

these below are Audigy2 software package that is the same as
the 1 BiGBrOWnPimpsta gave. but this 1 is only install once, no need to crack original disc and restart your computer too many times.
u also can use the thread which given by BiGBrOWnPimpsta if you want to use.
[color=blue]it is not driver it is just software package of Audigy2 ZS. remember not to cycle the "windows driver" option when u install this package.

All is ok, i have installed first the BIG Audio ZS PACk with 262MB an then the new driver 266a

you can use 6.1 and 7.1 on Audigy2 ZS card. but you only can use 6.1 on Audigy2 soundcard.
Actually we have find mothed to let Audigy2 fully become to Audigy2 ZS, it means we can really connect 7.1 speaker on Audigy2 (not Audigy2 ZS) by adding a "Digital Analog converter"; it is so easy to D.I.Y, becouse your build-in soudcard on mainboad has 1.and we just modify some files in the drivers.
now YouP PAX VI Ultra has supported the functions(use adding Digital Analog Converter) that let SB Live! 4.1 become to SB Live! 5.1.though the notification was typed in Chinese by PAX, i can translate for users whom use SB Live 4.1.
because YouP's Audigy2 model:0240 was burned, he cannot modify the driver which let all Audigy2 sound cards support 7.1 speaker soon. maybe next version of PAX driver will integrate this function and give English notification.

well, you do not need to buy DAC(Digital Analog Converter), because you have 1 on your mainboard, use your built-in soundcard of mainboard.

im not sure. none of my friend has this sound card. you may try.

but configuration of Audigy2 LZ driver is different from offical driver. you need to confirm whether this card builds-in Emu10K2. if there is Emu10K2, it can install PAX drivers with ID modding.

ok. now i will post the method to softmod "SB Live 4.1 upgrade SB Live 5.1"
very easy:
you just connect [color=red]pin 19[/color] of your SB LIve's extent slot and [color=#000000][color=red]S/PDIF IN pin[/color] [/color][color=white]of [/color]any soundcard(it must have [color=#000000][color=red]S/PDIF[/color] [/color][color=white]function. i.e. nForce soundcard of nForce MainBoard) by a wire. each of souncards has to be installed driver; your SB Live is primary card, the card you find is secondary card. then you set "record" to "S/PDIF" on the sound panel of secondary soundcard. but you need to install YouP PAX driver first.[/color]
[color=#ffffff]then you SB Live 4.1 is SB Live 5.1.[/color]
[color=#ffffff]the method can be also used on all models of Audigy2 sound card to let Audigy2 connect 7.1 speaker, but i haven't try it on Audigy2 series, after i do i am going to notice the steps.[/color]

i really don't know where u can buy DAC in your Country, and i have no any idea to solder a new DAC on your sound card.
if you wanna buy, buy a whole soundcard with SPDIF(there are some very cheap and old soundcard provides. i.e.[color=black][color=white]Xwave 6000 soundcard with YMF754 chip[/color][/color].),to buy a cheap sound card enough then follow the thread i posted to do soft-mod.

i suggest you not to follow the thread of hardware modding to flash your sound card 93c46 rom.
