PCI Tv-In Card

Hi,

Im thinking bout buying a PCI Tv-in card ...
this is what i ended for : (an idea)

Model 401 WinTV-DBX
can u tell me if its a good deal for 160$ Canadian
or if u got better suggestion ...

Hauppauge makes the best TV-tuner cards, get the best one you can afford.

i'll stay with this 160$ /dbx sound (thats stereo ?) FM radio ...
btw is there a cable-in
i mean to watch TV cable with it ...

okay ... i gotta choose between these 3 ...

any suggestion ? :

HAUPPAUGE 702 WIN-TV THEATRE 192$ CAN
HAUPPAUGE 401 WIN-TV-DBX 160$ CAN
HAUPPAUGE 700 WIN-TV-GO 81$ CAN

Notes :

WinTV-Theater, remote control
with 5 speaker Dolby ProLogic Surround Sound output (I dont think they're included)...

WinTV-radio with dbx-TV stereo, FM radio and remote control

WinTV-Go-FM with mono audio and FM radio

ONE THING I WANNA KNOW
can i use my SB Live for the sound... ? if so... can i get stereo sound from the GO model ? by using it ... or i should go for the dbx/theatre model ?

You can use your sound card with all of them, but with the mono one you won't get stereo sound. I would go with the HAUPPAUGE 401 WIN-TV-DBX unless you want to watch TV in surround sound then you should go with the HAUPPAUGE 702 WIN-TV THEATRE.

I dont have a surround system =/
i got a big old audio system from JVC with 4 big speakers ... (2 for each sides) stereo =/
thats good for me ... so the 160$ one ... I'll give u news by the end of this week
