Audigy to home theater
Alright, I'm bored and summer is done on the 2nd of September...so I'm goofing around plugging my computer into my home theater.
As of now, I have an S-Video to Composite cable plugging the visuals in...but I want surround sound! Our receiver looks like this... ![]() Now, with the 6CH direct input on the lower right...is there any way I can get Mini-din (the little headphone size jacks on my audigy) to Component (the white and red connector jacks on the receiver) splitters? The audigy uses the front left and right and rear left and right (plus the center and sub) channels...but combines each pair on one cable. Is there a way to split them, convert them from the little jacks to the receiver's jacks, and have 5.1 audio over an analogue connection? Please tell me there is, I want my games in 5.1, not just DVDs over the optical or coax digitals. I have read elsewhere that people can split the signals and connect the audigy to home theater...please say it's true! Thanks! Last edited by reno; Aug 24, 2004 at 04:07 PM. |

You buy this cabele first. you can find them on sale in DV shop.
![]() 1. you see the black jack(connect to Audigy Line Out 3), it has 4 parts 2. and you also can buy the cable similar as this cable; has 3 parts of black jack, and two jacks only on the right; buy 2 cables to connect to Line Out 1 and Line Out 2. 3. then you try to distribute connecting.because i'm very difficult to post image, more steps must be done by yourself.
