Default Post HERCULES GAME THEATER XP What you think?

Guys I might have the opportunity of getting a Game theatre XP setup to replace my sound blaster live 5.1. What do you you think of it? I've heard many great things about it and it does well in the reviews and one thing is for sure it is better than a sound blaster live
thx
Andy

The recent driver release really brings out the quality in the card. On the Hercules forums people would often mention the higher quality sound with Win98. I've only used the card with XP; it sounded fine to me. However, with the new drivers I was literally blown away! How often do you do a driver update then have to reset your EQ back to a more neutral curve? Price is another factor to think about. How much would you be picking one up for? If you have any more questions I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

Update:

I seen your price listing in another thread; very good deal.
