your opinions on the logitech z-5300
guys im really set on the z-5300 speakers, the deal just looks solid, im seriously planning to get them in the next few weeks. i have enough right now but im moving and so have to help out with a few costs

has anyone heard this speaker set on the audigy2 line of cards (a2, a2 zs) and tell me what you think. these tests are mostly on loser nforce sound, live! and at best audigy 1.

i know the bass is frightening, just the way i want it since i listen to a LOT i mean a LOT of rap/hip-hop and dance. and of course gaming

they should be good, but if you can test them instore it would be better… not sure how you could though w/o disturbing other shoppers

futureshop buddy..... just ask for an audigy 2 system... and tell em to hook em up.....

well maybe they might not do it for you.. not sure how it work out there... but futureshop here.... they do anything i tell or ask of them.. pretty sweet.. i wanted to check out a projector... and i specified a graphics card... they came back to me under 5 minutes with a machine setup and ready... and let me install stuff..... i showed them quake 1 on a projector... nice....

Based on Logitech's reputation in making speakers, and on specs of these, I would say that they are very good. But as judas and dj_stick say, test them in store (if you can) before you buy them.

futureshop here will let just about anyone fully test out any product (within reason)

they should have the 5300's demoing and they should have a machine with a Audigy 2 ZS sitting around somewhere..... i've asked to test out various speakers.. they grab the demo... and hook them up to which ever system i want.... if i want to try out even a pci 16 bit soundblaster.... they'll do it... i've even tried out software on there machines... before i buy.... sometimes.....

Hell... loaded up quake 1 for the entire staff to play.. lol... great fun!
