Audigy 2 Setup did not detect the required components

I get this error message whenever I try to install spkr or eax console executables.

Audigy 2 Setup did not detect the required components.

I dunno what to do. I uninstalled and used Driver Cleaner and even tried using the Audigy 2 cd off this forum to do the install and it still says the same thing. I went through that and also ran the most recent updates too before trying to install spkr setup and eax.
