Replacing sound card

I am replacing my Audigy 1 sound card with a new Audigy 2 ZS card (basic card not platinum). Your advice on what steps and in what order they should be taken, would be greatly appreciated. (I have Driver Cleaner software which I have used to update my ATI drivers)

My basic system info is:

P4 3.04 HT, 1024 Mg Ram, ATI 9700 Pro, DVD/CD drive, CD burner, 2 -200G hard drives, XP SP2,cable modem , Boston Acoustic 5.1 speakers,CyberlinksPowerDVD software

uninstal the audigy 1 drivers
run driver cleaner
remove a1 card
install a2 card
install a2 drivers
