I got a simple question, what does EAX actually do?
I allmost never enable caus the sounds gets strange
examples:

GTA, EAX enabled.. alota sounds are real low like shooting. Some sounds allmost disappeare! its AWFUL!

Richard burns Rally, EAX enabled.. the gravel sound is so loud, i get crazy.

is Dolby surround recommend or something for EAX? and thats the reason some sounds come real low when not having dolby surround?

depending on which version of EAX you have its a series of reverb settings, later versions have occlusion and crossover between presets (audible when standing i na doorway)

if it doesn't work, just turn it off
