Audigy 2 Problems

I have read many similar problems to this online, but I still haven't found a solution. I cannot get XP (SP2) to recognize the card. I have disabled my onboard sound through BIOS, and I have tried to disable it through device manager (BSOD, or it doesn't give the option). The installation CD says that no Soundblaster card is detected. I've even tried multiple PCI slots. I'm losing my mind over this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean your Windows SP2 hasn't found or recogized Audigy2?

Are you using fresh installed XP SP2 or patched XP/XP SP1?!? You might try using driver cleaner and/or kX driver (very good Sound blaster Live!/Audigy/Audigy2 alternative driver, see other topics inside DriverHeaven). I would reccomend doing fresh winXP install...

Yes. This is the first time trying to install the card, also.

This is a fresh install of XP.

Tried plain old XP SP1 or just plain old winXP without any service packs? Even Some old Win98 CD would help you; at least to check if your card is not broken...

I got it fixed.. I just directly downloaded the newest drivers on the Soundblaster website. Thanks everyone.
